Ring photography, minus the studio
Rings are the hardest jewelry category to shoot: a mirror-polished band shows every fingerprint and every reflection of the room. Start with a clean phone photo and let the background do the work instead.

Band and setting stay sharp
Prongs, pavé and engraving are the details buyers zoom into. The edit is limited to the background, so the setting you photographed is the setting they receive.
One ring, every channel
Generate the same ring on pure white for a marketplace, marble for the brand site and charcoal for a paid social ad — from a single source photo.
Shadow that sells the metal
Each scene adds a contact shadow and directional light, which is what makes a small object look physical rather than pasted onto a background.
How to photograph a ring on a phone
Stand the ring upright against a plain background, put the phone on a stable surface, and use window light from one side rather than overhead light. Avoid direct sun: it produces a blown highlight across the band. A slight downward angle shows both the stone and the inside of the band.
What to check before you export
Look at the stone first, then the hallmark. If either softened, reduce the edit strength and regenerate. For listings that need a pure white background, choose the white scene and the 1:1 ratio so the piece is centred with even margins.
常见问题
Can it handle a ring with a large centre stone?
Yes. Keep the stone in focus in the source photo; the edit does not recreate facets, it preserves them.
Do stacked or multi-ring shots work?
They do, but one piece per photo gives the most predictable result. Describe which piece should stay in the instruction if you shoot several at once.
Which background sells best for rings?
White for marketplaces, marble for premium positioning, charcoal for ads. Test two per piece and keep the one that matches your brand.
